The St. Louis Cardinals announced a major shift in how fans can watch games beginning with the 2026 season, introducing Cardinals.TV as the team’s new broadcast and streaming home.
Under the new model, Major League Baseball will produce and distribute all locally televised Cardinals games. Fans will still be able to watch games through traditional cable and satellite providers, while also having the option to stream games directly through Cardinals.TV on the MLB App and MLB.com.

The graphic above shows the Cardinals’ home television territory, where fans can stream every locally produced game on Cardinals.TV with no blackouts. Fans outside that region can still watch Cardinals games nationwide through MLB.TV, subject to national exclusivities.
Streaming subscriptions will go on sale Feb. 10, priced at $99.99 for the full season or $19.99 per month. According to the team, fans who live within the Cardinals’ home television territory will be able to stream all locally produced games with no blackouts. Nationally exclusive games on networks like ESPN or FOX will remain separate from the Cardinals.TV platform.
The change officially ends the Cardinals’ longtime relationship with FanDuel Sports Network Midwest after its parent company, Main Street Sports Group, failed to make a required payment late last year.
Cardinals officials said the goal is to make watching games easier and more accessible, regardless of whether fans prefer cable or streaming. With the move, the Cardinals become the eighth MLB team to have their local broadcasts produced and distributed directly by MLB.
Additional details, including channel listings, broadcasters and spring training coverage, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
