🚨 Toy Gun Carjacking of Nuns – Police say 25-year-old Jordan Grundy used a toy gun to steal a car from two nuns leaving mass on Lindell. After a high-speed chase, he crashed and was arrested. Grundy faces robbery and other charges.

πŸ•ŠοΈ Former Illinois Gov. Jim Edgar Dies at 79 β€“ Edgar, who led Illinois from 1991 to 1999, passed away Sunday. Remembered for fiscal discipline and bipartisan leadership, he was the last Republican governor elected twice in the state.

⚑ Power Outage Hits Ameristar Casino β€“ An Ameren substation malfunction cut electricity to Ameristar Casino and nearby parts of St. Charles. Backup generators filled the air with smoke, but power was restored within 90 minutes.
