βοΈ Boeing Union Rejects Contract, Strike Continues β More than 3,200 Boeing defense workers in the St. Louis region remain on strike after 57% of members rejected a new 5-year deal Friday. Union leaders say employees deserve stronger pay and benefits. Boeing called the offer its βbest yetβ but is moving forward with hiring replacement workers.
π¨ Charlie Kirk Shooter in Custody β President Donald Trump announced Friday that the suspect in Charlie Kirkβs killing has been arrested. Authorities identified him as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson of Utah.

On this day in 2005, the home where Jimi Hendrix grew up in Seattle was saved from demolition after a new location was agreed at the last minute. The James Marshall Hendrix Foundation and the City of Seattle agreed to renovate the building into a community centre opposite the cemetery where the guitarist was buried in 1970.
