💦 Manhole Blown by Flash Floods: Torrential rain Sunday night sent four inches of water rushing into St. Louis sewers in just two hours, creating air pressure that popped a manhole near Vandeventer and Foundry. The Metropolitan Sewer District says better ventilation is in the works.
⚾ Donovan Lifts Cards: Brendan Donovan’s go-ahead two-run double in the eighth powered the Cardinals to a 3-2 win over the Rockies, snapping Colorado’s eight-game skid. Miles Mikolas carried a no-hit bid into the sixth.
🐾 Pet Emporium Coming to STL: A new full-service pet destination with a sports bar, grooming, boarding, and training will replace Bar K in St. Louis, opening soon next to the Rail Apartments.
