🏘️ 112 Condos Coming to Town and Country: McBride Homes is building a 112-unit condo community, Woods Mill Crossing, near I-64 and Highway 141. Construction starts later this year after demolition wraps up.
⚾ Nationals Thump Cardinals 8-2 at Busch: Masyn Winn had three hits, but St. Louis struggled again against a lefty as Mackenzie Gore silenced the bats. The Cards have now gone 2-6 against left-handed starters since late June.
⚖️ Judge Sets Trial in Bid to Remove STL Sheriff: A St. Louis judge denied motions from both sides in a high-stakes legal fight over Sheriff Alfred Montgomery’s job. The bench trial is set for Nov. 10 following misconduct claims from Missouri AG Andrew Bailey.
🎸 Waino Hosting “Big League Bash” Charity Concert: Cardinals legend Adam Wainwright will headline a July 27 charity show at The Factory in Chesterfield. The concert supports his Big League Impact foundation, which has raised over $11M for humanitarian causes.

Milt Buckner (1915): A jazz pioneer born in St. Louis, Buckner was a master of the Hammond organ and a key figure in the development of the “block chords” style. He played with Lionel Hampton and helped bridge swing and early rock ‘n’ roll.
Kevin Handlan (1955): A St. Louis-born soccer standout, Handlan played professionally in the North American Soccer League and later became a respected figure in youth coaching and local sports development.
Lorene Ramsey (1936): One of the most influential women in collegiate athletics, Ramsey went on to win over 1,000 combined games as a softball and basketball coach at Illinois Central College.
