📖 1942 – Anne Frank went into hiding: On this day, Anne Frank and her family entered a secret annex in Amsterdam to escape Nazi persecution. Her diary, written during this time, became one of the most important accounts of life during the Holocaust.
🕊️ 1995 – Srebrenica genocide began: Bosnian Serb forces launched an attack on Srebrenica, resulting in the massacre of more than 7,000 Bosniak men and boys. It was the deadliest episode of mass murder in Europe since World War II.
🎸 1957 – Paul McCartney met John Lennon: Paul McCartney and John Lennon met for the first time at a church event in Liverpool. Their partnership would eventually lead to the formation of The Beatles, one of the most influential bands in history.

Adrian Clayborn (1988): A former NFL defensive end, Clayborn played for multiple teams including the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots, winning a Super Bowl and becoming known for his dominant six-sack performance in a single game.
Spenser Mango (1986): A two-time Olympian in Greco-Roman wrestling, Mango represented the United States in both the 2008 and 2012 Olympics and remains one of the most accomplished amateur wrestlers to come out of St. Louis.
