💧Boil Water Advisory in South St. Louis: A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for parts of south St. Louis—including The Hill, Southwest Garden, and North Hampton—after a large water main break. Dan Adams (1887): Nicknamed "Rube", was a MLB pitcher who played for two seasons with the Kansas City Packers of the Federal League from 1914-15 for 47 games.

Jerry Reuss (1949): former left-handed pitcher in MLB, best known for his years with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Reuss played for eight teams including the Dodgers, Cardinals, Astros, and Pirates.
