A new bar devoted exclusively to women’s sports is coming to St. Louis.
The Sports Bra, originally founded in Portland, is expanding to its fourth U.S. location, joining Boston, Las Vegas and Indianapolis. The concept is simple but hasn't been done before—show only women’s sports, all the time.
The bar and grill will feature classics like wings (chicken or cauliflower), ribs, fries, and sandwiches, alongside vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. Local sourcing is a core value, with grass-fed beef and other products supplied by local St. Louis-area producers.
Many menu items draw from founder Jenny Nguyen’s Vietnamese heritage, including fan favorites like Mom’s Baby Back Ribs.
The drink menu is equally inventive, featuring cocktails such as the Pickle Ball (gin, vermouth, pickle juice), Cherry Picker, and Title IX—a bourbon, peach, and mint concoction. All beverages, including beer, cider, spirits, and kombucha, are sourced from women-led companies.
In St. Louis, the bar will spotlight local women’s teams like the five-time national champion St. Louis Slam of the Women’s Football Alliance, while also showcasing national leagues like the WNBA, NWSL and PWHL.
“St. Louis has a vibrant sports scene, but dedicated spaces that center women’s sports are noticeably absent,” said franchise spokesperson Heather Hill. “The Sports Bra will fill that void with a welcoming, inclusive environment for fans to rally behind women athletes.”
While a date and location for the opening are still to be determined, you can find more information about the upcoming establishment at thesportsbraofficial.com.
