The Central West End Cocktail Party is making its return, celebrating the rich history and vibrant culture of one of St. Louis’ most iconic neighborhoods. Often credited as the birthplace of the cocktail party, the CWE honors the original 1917 gathering hosted by Mrs. Julius S. Walsh Jr. at her home on 4510 Lindell Blvd.

This year’s event will take place on Euclid Avenue between Maryland and McPherson from 5–10 p.m., offering an evening packed with entertainment, music, and community.

Guests can expect live music from The Playadors, The Mighty Pines, Hard Bop Messengers, and Ish Ensemble. There will be performances including aerialists, fire dancers, LED hula performers, stilt walkers, unicyclists, tightrope acts, and bottle walking.

In a show of community support, the CWE has also partnered with Operation Food Search to raise funds for tornado relief efforts following the May 16 storm that impacted downtown St. Louis.

Parking is available throughout the neighborhood, including on-street options and in the Argyle Garage and self-pay lot north of McPherson.
