The Loop Mural Festival is back for its second year and it’s bringing even more color and energy to the Delmar Loop. Over the course of one weekend, four massive murals will come to life in real-time, thanks to a lineup of nationally recognized artists who will paint live across the district.

The event runs from May 30 to June 1, and no ticket is required for entry. The festival will look to celebrate art in action, offering visitors the chance to watch world-class muralists at work while enjoying live music, food, kids' crafts, and even some local shopping. It will be part street party, part open air gallery, with a focus on expressing unique creativity in one of St. Louis' most iconic neighborhoods.

This year’s featured artists include:

  • Louise Jones, known for her massive floral murals inspired by local flora and fauna (Starbucks Building – 6621 Delmar)
  • Ian the Painter (Ian Wilkinson), a muralist who’s painted across the country in a 1940 Ford (Vintage Vinyl – 6610 Delmar)
  • Alex Jove, a realist painter from St. Louis who studied in Bolivia and Pennsylvania (Tivoli Building – 6350 Delmar)
  • Natasha Platt, aka Surface of Beauty, whose vibrant, botanical murals have appeared everywhere from New York to Bali (U City Parking Garage – 6319 Delmar)

Families can also stop by the Tivoli parking lot for free kids’ activities and crafts, and check out the Budding Artist event, which showcases up-and-coming local talent alongside the headliners.

Whether you're there to paint, dance, eat, or just explore, the Loop Mural Festival offers a little something for everyone.
